It was originally developed for the lubrication of bearings subject to high loads in the food-processing industry where they have to achieve long runtimes under hygienically sensitive conditions.

Kl+übertemp RHB 83-202 has also proven successful for a wide variety of other applications where medium viscosity and good thermal resistance are required.

For example, as Klübertemp RHB 83-202 exceeds temperature range required for engine peripherals, it can be ideally used for applications in proximity to the engine.

The base oils of Klübertemp RHB 83-202 have a lower viscosity than those of most other products registered as NSF-H1; at the same time they offer a remarkable long-term stability at temperatures up to 240°C. The lower viscosity helps to improve the starting load and vibration, reducing the power draw at low temperatures.

Klübertemp RHB 83-202 is NSF H1 registered and therefore complies with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. The lubricant was developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or animal feed industries. The use of Klübertemp RHB 83-202 can contribute to increase reliability of your production processes. We nevertheless recommend conducting an additional risk analysis, e.g. HACCP.

We have designed the lubricants Klüberalfa YM 3-30 N and Klüberalfa YM 3-65 N especially for this requirement and manufactured them on a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base. These lubricating oils distinguish themselves with good wetting properties and can therefore be used for a simple thin-film oiling of metals, elastomers and thermoplastics. The PFPE base provides outstanding ageing resistance for an extensive operating temperature range. Consequently, Klüberalfa YM 330 N and YM 3-65 N are also suitable for applications where a lifetime lubrication is required. The lubricants are non-flammable and insoluble in most common cleaning agents.
